Embark on a round trip across the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, standing at 2269 meters above sea level. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes adorned with Berber villages along the way.
Our first stop is the Kasbah of Telouet, a hidden castle that once served as a key stop for merchant caravans traveling from the desert to Marrakech. This historic site belonged to the house of L’Glaoui, a prominent figure in the French protectorate era, one of the Lords of the Atlas.
Next, we journey to the ancient village of Ait Benhaddou, nestled in the foothills on the southern slopes of the High Atlas. This UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its traditional South Moroccan architecture and has been featured in famous movies and TV shows such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Game of Thrones (Season 3).
Our adventure continues with a short drive to Ouarzazate, also known as the Hollywood of Africa. Here, you’ll visit the impressive film studios and the historic Kasbah Taourirt before we head back to Marrakech.
